VPC Fiberglass recently completed a custom fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) shelter in partnership with our sales representatives at CPE, for a critical energy services and power operations facility. The enclosure was engineered to house sensitive electrical and control equipment while providing long-term protection in a demanding operating environment.
FRP shelters are an ideal solution for energy and power applications due to their corrosion resistance, structural strength, and low maintenance requirements. Unlike traditional steel or concrete structures, FRP enclosures maintain performance over time without degradation from moisture, chemicals, or harsh weather conditions—helping protect critical systems and reduce lifecycle costs.
This custom shelter is designed to support the day-to-day demands of energy and power operations, with built-in ventilation for heat control, electrical provisions for lighting and power, and windows that bring in natural light for better visibility and comfort. Durable hardware and a smart layout help ensure safe, efficient operation.
